Falmouth
Falmouth is the leading south coast resort in
Cornwall. An historic maritime town, it is now
home to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
Pendennis Castle and it's twin at St Mawes, were
built by Henry VIII to guard what is the third
largest natural harbour in the world. Ellen MacArthur
finished her record breaking solo round the world
voyage here in February 2005. With 4 bathing beaches,
magnificent walks along the cliff tops, and a
bustling waterfront marina, Falmouth is the perfect
base from which to see Cornwall.
Maritime

winning building on the Falmouth harbour-side,
